Ho Rehabilitation Center was founded in 1983 with the vision of providing quality health care to patients of all ages who are in need of physical therapy. For more than 30 years, Dr. Ho and his staff have achieved a high level of patient care through the integration of clinical expertise, current research and continuing education. Ho Rehab Center is committed to the pursuit of excellence through the practice of art and science in physical therapy.
Our philosophy at Ho Rehab Center is to provide individualized and holistic treatment based on the unique needs and goals of each person. An appropriate treatment plan is based on a thorough neuromusculoskeletal evaluation. Our goal is to relieve pain and facilitate healing, improve functional status, provide patient education for prevention and promote wellness.
Dr. Larry Ho, MS, DPT, OCS
founded Ho Rehab Center, Inc., in 1983. He graduated from National Taiwan University in 1972 with a B.S. in Physical Therapy. In 1974, he obtained his M.S. from the Medical College of Virginia and subsequently acquired his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from USC in 1997. Dr. Ho has published numerous research articles in various scientific journals, translated the Manual Therapy book by Professor Freddy Kaltenborn into Chinese and for the past 20 years, has taught at USC in the Department of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy as Adjunct Associate Professor. Dr. Ho travels extensively to China and Taiwan conducting lectures and workshops.
Dr. Keren Pinto, DPT
has worked at Ho Rehabilitation Center for more than 10 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (2010) and her Masters of Physical Therapy (2014) from California State University, Northridge. Keren received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2017) from Temple University . She is a Pilates reformer 1 and 2 certified instructor. Keren has traveled to Vietnam to provide physical therapy to underserved communities. Growing up as a competitive gymnast and cheerleader introduced her to the benefits of physical therapy to rehabilitate from sports injuries as well as its applications in prevention of future injuries.
Dr. Liya Yin, DPT
received her Master of Science in Biokinesiology (2014) and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2017) from University of Southern California. From research experience in Neuroplasticity laboratory at USC and clinical experience in various clinical settings, she gained broad interests in movement deficits in different patient populations and applying neuroplasticity and motor learning theory into her treatment.
Dr. Jasmine Martin, DPT
received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge in 2016. She was a competitive golfer in high school and college, which helped her earn a full scholarship to California State University, Northridge for a Business/Finance undergraduate degree. She became a massage therapist in 2003 and practiced for over 10 years before completing her doctorate in Physical Therapy. Due to her own experience with golf she has a special interest in treating and rehabilitating golf related injuries as well as treating and rehabilitating orthopedic related injuries.
Dr. Karen Hsu, DPT
received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (2005) from the University of California, Berkeley and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California (2016). Karen has traveled to Ensenada, Mexico and Barranquilla, Colombia to provide physical therapy services to underserved communities. Karen is a certified yoga teacher, and has a special interest in running, swimming, and tennis. Karen is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association and practices evidence-based therapy founded on the most up-to-date research.
Sheila Richards, PTA, CPT
has been on staff with Ho Rehab Center since 1985. She graduated with a B.S. in Health Education from CSUN and continued on to become a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. In 2004 she became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In addition to patient care, Sheila is the office manager & leads group exercise classes certified by the Arthritis Foundation.
Ho Rehab Center, Inc, was established in 1983 in Tarzana, CA, serving the outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation needs of the San Fernando Valley. We have 7 private treatment rooms with a fully equipped gym. We specialize in sports, orthopedic and neurological movement disorders of the spine and extremities, serving both the pediatric and adult populations.
Ho Rehab Center is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment to not only facilitate, but exceed our patients' and clients' expectations and goals for physical therapy and fitness.
